Questions and answers

Is FreightLingo open?
Not yet. Join the waitlist and we'll write when it is.
Which languages?
English, Spanish, Quebec French, Punjabi, Russian, Romanian, Polish and Serbian. More will follow.
Does a driver pay anything?
No. Anyone invited to a conversation (a driver, a dock, a carrier) never pays to join it, read it or answer in it. Starting new conversations and inviting people is what the paid plan will be for: that's the broker's, dispatcher's or carrier office's side.
Does a driver need an app?
No. A link opens in the phone's browser.
Can I still write in English?
Of course. Everyone writes in the language they're most comfortable in, English included.
Who can read my messages?
The people in the conversation. Messages are translated by a translation service and stored so the conversation is there tomorrow.
What if a translation is wrong?
The original is always underneath it, and numbers that couldn't be checked are flagged.
Is it for roadside inspections?
No. Inspections are answered in English, as federal rules require.
Does it replace an interpreter?
For everyday messages, no interpreter is needed. For calls, a professional interpreter will be able to join when it matters.
